What it's for
This is a foundation pack, not an encyclopaedia. It covers the sounds a sci-fi prototype needs on day one — something to shoot, something to walk on, something that talks back, and a menu that doesn't sound borrowed — so the audio stops being a placeholder before the game is finished.
It is genuinely pay-what-you-want on itch.io, including zero. If it's useful and you can pay something, that's what funds the next pack; if you can't, take it and ship your game.
How it was made
- No AI, ever. No generative audio, no AI-assisted synthesis.
- One standardised master chain. 44.1 kHz / 16-bit PCM, a −1.3 dBTP ceiling, 20 Hz high-pass, shaped TPDF dither — the same deterministic pipeline every Neon Audio pack goes through.
- Measured before it ships. True peak, DC offset, crest factor and clipping are checked per file, not per pack.
