The two samplers

Both are hand-picked from the paid libraries and are the same masters that ship inside them — no watermarks, no quality reduction, no "preview" versions. They cost an email address, because the download link arriving in your inbox is what tells us the address is real.

The one that costs nothing at all

Sci-Fi Core — the full 58-sound library — is pay-what-you-want on itch.io, and you can set that to zero. No email required.

What you're allowed to do with them

• Ship them in a commercial game. Royalty-free, no per-title fee, no attribution required.
• Edit them. Pitch, stretch, layer, chop, reverse — they're raw material, not finished cues.
• Use them in video, streams and prototypes as well as games.

What you can't do is resell or redistribute them as a sound effects library, on their own or as part of another pack. If you downloaded through a marketplace instead, that store's own licence applies to your copy — read the one shown on the listing.

Common questions

Are these really free?

Yes. The samplers cost an email address; the full Sci-Fi Core pack costs nothing at all if you set the price to zero on itch.io.

What format are the files?

44.1 kHz, 16-bit PCM WAV — uncompressed, and ready to drop straight into Unity, Unreal, Godot, FMOD, Wwise or any DAW. If you need 48 kHz, resample on import; every engine will do it for you.

Is any of this AI-generated?

No. There is no generative AI and no AI-assisted synthesis anywhere in this audio, and there never will be. Everything is designed by hand by one person in Las Vegas. More on how the pipeline works →

Will you email me constantly?

No. You get your download link, and occasional notes when a new pack ships. Every email has an unsubscribe, and the list is never sold or shared.
